Region: Essex and East Anglia
Come along to our first Regional Day of 2019 - it's going to be a good one!
Cathy Shimmin,Business Development Manager at the Directory of Social Change is going to present two sessions:
Emotional Intelligence: Why it matters and what it is.
Our Emotional Intelligence influences how we feel about ourselves and others – and therefore hugely impacts on our relationships at work. In this session we will look at the Emotional Intelligence Competencies. When we take each area and focus on our own behaviours within that competency, we can then think about how we make the necessary behavioural changes to manage ourselves, others and our relationships – all in the interests of serving our beneficiaries.
Communicate with Influence
Whether you are trying to influence funders, colleagues or other stakeholders this workshop will provide you with some top tips for getting attention, getting heard and getting results. Come and find out about what makes us tick, onions and a family of bulls. Curious? Good, got your attention then!!
We will also take the opportunity to look at What's Hot and What's Not in the hospice world and beyond in our region.
I hope you can join us!
