The Capital Appeals team will be fundraising for a new project for Overgate Hospice –a purpose built new Inpatient Unit and new Day Hospice. The Inpatient Unit will be a new, larger unit with 16 single rooms, each with en-suite facilities and a private terrace. Day Hospice will be relocated to a bigger, newly refurbished space currently occupied by our existing Inpatient Unit; a larger, more flexible space, which would enable us to see more people, host more clinics and activities, provide more rehabilitative care for people living with a terminal illness and additional support for their carers. To provide these vital facilities for the com-munity, we need to raise £10.5m, 80% of which will be through applications to grant funders and major donors.
