Every day incredible hospice supporters take on a challenge of a lifetime to raise much-needed funds, and it is essential to have the right person in place to support them every step of the way. We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent organisational and people skills to deliver the hospice’s challenge events calendar. The successful candidate will have experience of working with a range of people delivering excellent customer care, and a proven track record of working to targets.

Location: Wakefield Hospice
We require an experienced community fundraiser to join our successful fundraising team to further develop the fundraising activity within our local community, engaging with new and existing supporters. You will support individuals organising their own events, and participants of community fundraising events; this may include advising supporters on ways to get involved, supplying information and materials, giving encouragement and help to promote their fundraising. You will engage with local organisations, groups, schools, churches, as well as the Hospices’ Fundraising Groups to encourage their support. You will be responsible for managing existing campaigns therefore knowledge of raffles and collection boxes is desirable. You will be a confident and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills, and able to show the drive and determination to promote and manage successful fundraising campaigns to achieve ambitious financial targets.
